My involvement with the actual work of Dr Moshe Feldenkrais goes back 40 years when I first did my initial training. I worked professionally for a while, but I always felt that there was something missing. I found gold when I did this training and found out what was missing. The difference here with this work is the direction on how to pay attention to what you are feeling and specific questions to ask yourself.

The experience of being a student was extraordinary. The students that I study with, we stay connected. It has become an extended family for us. This training is unique is so many ways. Going through this training and becoming an MBS practitioner opened the door for me to a bigger way of thinking about the body, movement, not only for my clients but for me.

What I appreciate is the precision and the high quality of the teachings. The learning experience was really tailored to our specific needs which was wonderful. I can only recommend the training to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of moving, sensing and feeling the body in a wonderful way.

Now, I see a great difference in the way I teach and approach Pilates through a system of questions rather than through instructions and corrections. I am so appreciative of the MBS work because I am taught the principles of the work and a system of questions. I really appreciate the philosophies that I got from the work, it is so much more than just movement. This work has really changed my life.

I was introduced to the work of Moshé Feldenkrais during my first year of doctoral studies in music performance. After that 45 minute session, I noticed an enormous change in my body, and walked away without the significant neck pain which led me to seek out help.

Having continued to be a student of the work, I wrote my dissertation on movement, setting in motion a continued desire for life-long learning. One desire was to become a practitioner of the work at some point.

Upon learning about MBS Academy and having a ZOOM meeting with the trainers and current students, I knew this was the right match for me. The ability to learn both online and in person was especially appealing, as was the opportunity to be in Europe during the training. While classes were taught in English, being amidst students from around the world was its own gift. These friendships will continue long after the training is complete.

Unlike other trainings I've been through, the MBS trainers have incredibly keen eyes with the ability to aid and guide students to the real essence of the work. Following each in-person segment, I not only felt I had a deeper understanding of what this work is about, but for my own body, I was transformed. When I sat at the piano again, my fingers, hands and arms glided over the keys with incredible ease. Even my walking was improved and I lifted my luggage with greater ease (who doesn't love that?)

The personalized attention we received during our final two segments is a once in a lifetime experience. Watching the trainers work with others and have them demonstrate and work on us was an invaluable learning in itself.

I am grateful to Chris and Margit for their clarity and vision in bringing this Foundation XV training to completion. Words fail to adequately express what these last two segments in Bolzano meant to me. I carry your care, touch, and teaching with me.

We now have the ability to take Dr. Feldenkrais' work to people all around the world, changing people's lives in a positive way.

The lessons I’ve gained through direct experience have been truly transformative, offering profound insights into my own personality, habits, and thought patterns. By adopting the role of both observer and participant—watching myself and others—I have gained a deep understanding of how we move, think, and learn.

I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to learn from Margit, Chris, and Max, whose dedication to the in-person course is evident in every aspect of their teaching. Their thoughtful approach and commitment to fostering a supportive, engaging environment have made this experience incredibly enriching. The care they invest in delivering the course material is unparalleled, and it has left an indelible mark on my personal and professional development.

The impact of this course extends far beyond the lessons learned in the classroom. As a Pilates instructor now incorporating the Feldenkrais method into my practice, I’ve seen a profound shift in the way my students approach their bodies. They are more connected, more aware, and their movements are increasingly refined. The integration of Feldenkrais principles has not only enhanced their physical capabilities but has also nurtured a deeper mind-body connection, fostering a greater sense of overall well-being.

This course has truly been a gift—a transformative experience that continues to yield benefits long after the lessons have ended. I feel deeply fortunate to have been part of this journey, surrounded by such a thoughtful, generous community of learners. The opportunity to share this knowledge with others has been an honor, and I look forward to continuing my growth in the spirit of fun and exploration!

Looking back to the time in Bolzano, Bad Tölz and all the online sessions we have done together makes me grateful and happy. Our trainers Margit, Chris, Leora and Max made such a profound and deep learning possible. The safe and private learning setting helped me to really tune in with my body, my emotions my thinking and how all is connected. I enjoy so much to feel the connections: in my body and between us as life long students. It is great that the discovery never ends.

I want to point out especially the quality of touch that the team was making us feel on ourselves and how the trainers made us learn how to provide it to others. To feel the different qualities. To look at each other. To explore the many ways of movements - and in that way also to explore the different personalities and their uniqueness. The approach of Mind Body Studies changed my way of thinking and being.

A profound experience in our Foundation training was to explore all the so far unknown connections in my body and the lightness that comes with them. And also to experience the connection in our group of teachers and students. We had lovely dinners, dance sessions and conversations. I am very grateful for the people I met and the experiences I made!
